Michael Blackwood directs this documentary offering a behind the scenes look at the creation of US composer Philip Glass's opera 'Akhnaten'. The programme follows Glass to Germany, where the Stuttgart Opera are performing the work, and to Egypt to visit historical sites relating to the life of Akhnaten, the pharaoh around whom the work is based.
