The Running Man is a new, modern reimagining of the iconic sci-fi thriller that originally starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Running Man (2025) is directed by Edgar Wright, known for films such as Baby Driver and Shaun of the Dead, and features Glen Powell in the lead role.

Based on Stephen King’s dystopian novel, the film is set in a near-future society where a brutal reality show serves as the state’s ultimate form of entertainment: contestants are hunted live on television, and survival equals freedom.
