Saxophonist Chip McNeill's first release for Capri is made up of all original compositions. McNeil plays both tenor and soprano saxes on the date. His quintet features outstanding musicians from the Chicago area as well as pianist and Capri artist Chip Stephens as a guest on two of the tracks. McNeill was a member of Arturo Sandoval's Grammy winning band and has also recorded and toured with Maynard Fergusson, Woody Herman, Nat Adderley and Dianne Schurr, among others. He has toured extensively throughout the world and has played most of the major jazz clubs and festivals in the US and Europe.
