Garolou

Garolou RSD Black Friday 2026 edition

In 1978, Garolou recorded their second album at the legendary Le Studio in Morin-Heights, produced by Edward “Ed” Stasium Jr. (Ramones and Talking Heads). Acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, the record went Gold, selling more than 50,000 copies. In 1979, it received a Félix Award at the very first ADISQ Gala. Featuring classics such as “La Complainte du Maréchal Biron,” “Victoria” and “Germaine,” this work remains a landmark of progressive French-Canadian folk-rock.
