At the age of 73, Bruce Springsteen is still a force to be reckoned with on the global rock scene, and he proves this yet again on his new album Only The Strong Survive, where he tries something - for him - completely new.

So far, he has focused on recording songs he has written himself, with the limitations his own songwriting entailed, i.a. that the vocals were never the priority. On Only The Strong Survive Springsteens vocals are front and center - a fantastic spectacle for Springsteen's excellent raspy vocals in its purest form.
