String Theory
Marc Copland
Marc Copland and Mark Feldman, both alumni of John Abercrombie's quartet, finally recorded together after decades on the New York scene, blending piano and violin into textures rarely heard in jazz. Two rhythm sections (Drew Gress and the late Anthony Pinciotti; Felix Henkelhausen and Jonas Burgwinkel) support standards and originals on a session dedicated to Pinciotti, a fixture of the NYC scene.
