Sawdust Caesars Various Artists

This essential collection, compiling 24 rarities from the UK Mod revival of the late 1970s, features an abundance of material from obscure 7' singles never before released on CD. Providing a snapshot of the second wave of possibly the most iconic youth cult in British rock history, this CD is all at once historic, educational and one hell of a damn good listen! Completed with liner notes documenting each band, and for completists details of the original 45 releases, this album is what collectors of the genre have been waiting years to get their hands on! Bands include: The Gents, The Lambrettas, Lew Lewis, The Chords, The Stiffs, The Questions, Stukas and more.
