Platters
Fronted by Tony Williams' distinctive tenor, the heavenly harmonies of The Platters are intrinsically linked with the rock 'n' roll movement of the 1950s. Monumental tracks such as 'Only You (And You Alone)', 'The Great Pretender', 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes', and 'My Prayer' would prove successful on both sides of the Atlantic
