Basil is a versatile instrumentalist and composer who collectively possesses a virtuosity rarely found. In addition to being an accomplished guitarist and composer he plays bass and keyboards. He also produces his own recordings and performs using his own backgroud trax. He does have extensive experience as a group member both as sideman and leader on stage and in the studio but this CD is a completely independent production in his home studio. Celestial Meeting is smooth and passionate and the title track (9) is 17:51 of pure connection to the energy of the universe.
