CD features 19 compositions from Ken Burns' THE ROOSEVELTS: AN INTIMATE HISTORY, a new seven-part, 14-hour documentary by Ken Burns, weaves together the stories of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, three members of one of the most prominent and influential families in American politics. Featuring original music composed by David Cieri, THE ROOSEVELTS soundtrack features 19 pieces, as well as three FDR speech excerpts. The compositions do justice to both to the Roosevelts formidable public achievements and to their complex interior lives.
