From Memphis to Mobile
Jeff Rupert
Tenor Saxophonist JEFF RUPERT has performed with jazz greats like Maynard Ferguson and Mel Torme. On this superb album, the late piano genius Kenny Drew, Jr. leads the rhythm section. Jeff and Kenny play memorable duets on half the tracks. All the tunes memorialize Jeff's southern roots, from the blues to Ellington sophistication. Swinging and sublime.
