First of all, the group Lieutenant Pigeon was not a one-hit wonder. They enjoyed two UK Top 20 singles, and in addition made several albums. Although most famous for their novelty hit, Mouldy Old Dough, the group featured highly competent musicians. But this certainly wasn’t mouldy old music and the mix of singles and album tracks here demonstrate just how unconventional and unpredictable they were.
