Motörhead

Pure Pleasure edition

Lemmy Kilmister had already been the driving force behind Motörhead for 16 years when the recordings for "1916" were made in 1991. Over the years, there had been plenty of changes among the band members - in fact, Kilmister was the only one from the original lineup. Still, the band's sound had hardly changed, and the years had done nothing to diminish the appeal of their steamhammer sound.
