On her upcoming album, Brimheim shines an unrelenting light on the dissonance within herself with a refined fusion of organic and electronic elements. She explores her shame, frustration with prescriptive gender roles, and unmasks the parts of her that she’s spent a lifetime suppressing.

RATKING is the follow-up to Brimheim’s debut album "can't hate myself into a different shape," one of the most celebrated Danish albums in 2022. It captured attention from international audiences with performances at The Great Escape, Eurosonic Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, By:Larm, Iceland Airwaves, and a live session at KEXP. Brimheim has received four Faroese Music Awards, the Danish publisher association’s Carl Prize as Talent of the Year in 2022, and was nominated as Hope of the Year at the Danish music critics' award Steppeulven in 2021.
