After the massive 'Pressure' mixes were released in August, Vince Watson keeps up the momentum with an absolute monster and two class A artists on remix duty. 'Sequential' is one of those tracks that make your hair stand up just before you run to the DJ booth to find out what it is. BASS!! 2 huge baselines fill the room and a trickle of sublime melodies follow suit…kindly given breathing space by a sumptuous breakdown before the energy explodes again. Its up there with 'Aurelon' and 'A Very Different World' and shows yet again (how many times have we said it) that Vince Watson's productions are of a different level. As if the original was not enough, also delivered here are 2 remixes by none other that DJ Rolando from UR/Jaguar fame and 2020/Planet E's Paul Woolford. Both remixes take a different route and follow the more subtle dubby approach with Rolando going for the uptempo Jacking approach, and Paul Woolford heading straight for the main room at Berghain with a deep and dark effort, massive subs and funky percussion are the key here and both deliver on the promise. Overall this is an outstanding package and expect to hear "Sequential' in every main room in the very near future. Oh…and don't worry, you will know it when you hear it.
