Sebastien Tellier is the unique voice of modern French electronic-edged pop, and the undisputed coolest man in music. ‘Sexuality’, his fourth album produced by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, contains unmissable and now culte tunes, like ‘Divine’, France’s inspired choice as their 2008 Eurovision representative, ‘L’Amour Et La Violence’, remixed by Boys Noize, ‘Kilometer’ by A-Trak, or ‘Look’ and its famous video… Pitchfork ‘Sexuality, his fourth album, moves toward erotic synth-pop in what might be a more stereotypically French pursuit, but Tellier’s willingness to engage the material without contempt or parody leads to an album of unexpected charm and grace.
